Travel tip number one : Do NOT self medicate diarrhoea with antibiotics !! Just rest the digestive system, rehydrate and use loperamide if really bad. Trust me, I'm a Biomedical Scientist.... :daisy:
This is a heads up tip about the airports - More & more airports are forcing you to use the automated machines for check-in, boarding passes & even for going thru customs. These machines are slow, ask a lot of questions, & are sometimes difficult for non-computer people especially older people. So be careful about cutting your time short between your arrival at the airport & departure time, the lines can be long and slow moving
The thing is having a boarding pass ahead of time didn't really save any time because everyone still had to go thru the same long line to check luggage. Now if you weren't checking luggage it did speed uo the process
That depends on the airline. When we came back the past two times we already had our boarding passes and were able to go through the express luggage drop off lane. HUGE difference
Leave your expensive jewelry at home and bring fake/inexpensive/costume jewelry. I bring a bunch of the inexpensive stuff and if it gets lost or stolen no big loss. Also....bring at HAT!
If your flight arrives before noon, your room probably won't be ready so put a bikini bottom in your purse. When you get to the resort, check your luggage, put on the suit and head to the sexy pool.
