I meant to write a report but our pc is bust so have ended up posting small bits from my phone.just wanted to say how rubbish we thought the music was especially after two weeks! The first week the karaoke was great there was a guy who sang really great and then joined in after with the band,that was by far the best night.after a few days of hearing pitbull and sweethome alabama it gets old real quick.was talking to Damien who has been there the longest after chinos departure and he said he has given up trying to get the management to change it,they don't really have staff meetings anymore and he's lost count of the complaints and how people have tried to change it.he suggested salsa which would be great and of course proper club music.how can they claim to have a different do every night when they play the same cd every night!
They do play a variety of music, and they never will be able to please everyone. They probably could add more songs to their play list.
This is going to be something I mention in the next installment of the ATM trip report tomorrow. It goes along with the theme of the resort, nobody knows you, and the owners don't give a shit!
The DJ is a joke..won't change up the music, even after multiple requests by many..I swear they played the same loop 2 years ago..the only real complaint we have .. Once again this year they had a Live Rock Band and the place was rocking.. then they switched to Techo the next 2 days..and they slowly cleared out Paty O's good way to save on the drinks.. I swear if I hear Tonights the Night..I will lose it.
I have better music on my cell phone. That slow stuff they play in the morning by the pool , where they take hit songs and slow them down, to make them more mellow,,,, what do you call that Genre ?
