Copy all documents to either cloud or Google drive. I always bring stuff just in case, like anti inflammatories, Benadryl, and steri strips. and extra pair of sunglasses
Copy of all phone #,s , ie Medical Insurance, Credit Card #, travel agent ect.. Print on a piece of paper and keep with your Passport or as you say to cloud. I have more faith on paper then electronics/internet in Mexico. A lot of the 1-800 # do not work in Mexico , and you have to use their Long distance , but CC and insurance accept collect call usually. And hope you never have to use it
another trick, pick a colored tape and put it on yr luggage top & bottom so you can spot it on the belt at the airport. (it really does make it easier to spot) Deff photo copy yr passport and paperwork and have them handy & in a zip lock baggie.
As long as you are bringing a pen for all of those forms, you might as well want to bring a pair of those $5 Walmart reading classes. Talk about fine print !!!
The Mexican forms have changed, the section/area that used to be Office Use,, is now to be filled out. There was a long line of people being turned back last Oct.
We started doing that a couple of years ago from a recommendation on here. It has made a big difference! Also, take Dukoral a month before you go to avoid travellers diarrhea. It is also good to get a prescript of Cipro to take. Just in case.
Instead of packing toiletries in your Ziploc carry on bag. Stuff them with little liquor mickeys or nips to get the party started before you get to the resort!
