Maybe this trip my husband will not be so sick and actually enjoy himself. I found a bottle of bubblegum vodka which I am saving just to make my drunken gummy bears for next December.
I was disappointed to not find this thread on the main page. I can't be the only one already counting down. And today is last day at current job. Starting the new one on Monday. Wonder if it will be weird putting in a vacation request for November on the first day
I don't think many have been posted on this board yet. Probably during the late spring/early summer when the crew starts booking for this year the photo threads will start up again.
I hope to be back too. Keeping an eye on prices for now as I'm not ready to book just yet. Never know what will happen between now and then but I hope to book in the summer.
Well, finally we can take a deep breath and say that we have our flights set for Dec 3-12. We made the reservations with our air miles while we were in Rochester Minn, at Mayo Clinic. Kathy had a recurrence of her cancer ( she had a very big tumor removed 10 yrs ago.) This time the suspect area was a lot smaller because we had been very vigilant with yearly MRI's. To make a long story short... things turned out about as well as could be expected. No new radiation, no plastic surgery, just a lot bigger scar and a noticeably smaller leg. (please don't even mention that when we see all of you this Dec.) We are back home now and she is doing well and recovering slowly but she is CANCER FREE at this time. Thanks to those of you who followed our ordeal on Facebook and sent prayers and good wishes Larry
good news yes good news from kathy and larry xxx sorry I have not beeen online much lately things have been a bit hectic, but I am so looking forward to cancun, will be booking soon , should be normal dates around 27th november xx
