40 days to first trip (April 5th can't get here quick enough)....having perused the forum for what seems to be hours. The plethora of information is astounding and I almost have the feeling that we've made the trip to TTR numerous times already. Too keep this "Must Bring" list brief as possible, this is the Reader's Digest version: (If anyone notices something missing from this list, please chime in) Tervis tumblers - Large (Day) Normal (Night) Dish soap, Wet Ones, & Hand Sanitizer Sunscreen (When in doubt, pack double) & Baby Powder First Aid Kit (Advil, Band-Aids, misc meds) Energy Shots, B Vitamin Complex, Probiotics, & RecoverORS Scented Candles Collapsible Cooler & Dry Bag Theme Night Attire The Cooter Towel Waterproof Camera Plenty of cash to avoid ATM's We're flying in from Houston, if necessary we can always pick up a bottle of duty free liquor. We also already have USA Transfers lined up. With all of the tips, tricks, and pointers, I do have a few questions. If one or some of you kind people could possibly provide answers, that would be greatly appreciated!! 1) Normally drink Grey Goose and Crown Royal. I am making the assumption that neither is available at the resort and we will be drinking well liquors. In regards to the CR, do they have anything comparable? 2) Are energy drinks available? i.e. Red Bull, Monster, etc. 3) Do they offer Jet-Ski rentals? 4) Do they offer up an introduction to scuba? We're contemplating getting scuba certified later this summer but want to take a introduction to scuba dive to ensure the eardrums will hold up to the pressure. Don't want to fork up the cash for certification if physically unable to handle the pressure. Well the Jet ski's are just on the beach for a price. I am not sure how much but others have use them and I have heard not too bad. There is a Scuba guy on the resort. Boris does do the pool course and I believe it is free to try. But if if you take the dive out as well there is a cost. I just did my open water dives with Boris and really had a good experience with him. I have dove with Boris on resort course a few times with him and have had no issues.

TTR bars charge $5 each for a Red Bull Didn't see Grey Goose there but they did have Sky for Premier Members, or the ones that twisted their red wristbands other side out to white!
I have to ask, what is a "Cooter Towel?" Or, is it one of those things where if I have to ask, nevermind?
I'm still trying to figure out the "Sunscreen and baby powder". Seems to me that would make some sort of paste....

The hotel offers a selection of top shelf brands such as: Bacardi Rum - White & Dark Brandy Fundador and Presidente Smirnof Vodka and Wyvorowa Cuervo Tequila and 100 Años Whiskey - Red Label, JB, Jim Beam, Kentucky. I have seen somewhere about JetSki's being $40 per half hour I don't know what the resort offers but there is a place next to the resort called Personal Divers Discover Scuba Diving $90 USD; 2 tanks $95 Never tried diving and always wanted to? We provide a personalized theory and pool lesson to give you the basic skills to dive. Then we are off to the open sea to enjoy 1 tank at a reef at depths no greater than 30 feet. After that you can continue to dive with us on your vacation up to 45 feet deep. You'll want to get certified after this vacation so you can enjoy diving with us time and time again. This includes lesson and a certified guide.
