Question to all of you TTR veterans who have stayed in different rooms in the resort. Which rooms have the best AC units, that actually produce cool and dry air? Last year was our first trip to TTR (April 2013)and we stayed at the room right across the gym. The AC was awful! We slept badly the entire week because it wasn't cooling properly but worst of all the humidity level in the room was so bad! Our swimsuits will not dry in 2 days! We would be sweating all night even without sheets on. We complained but since the resort was pretty busy there was only one more room in the same section. We checked it out and it was no difference whatsoever so we decided to stay in the original one. A couple more friends also stayed in that section and had the same issue. However when we visited some friends in the new section 3000 or something like that the AC felt a lot better! Is is better on that section of the resort or were we just so unlucky that everywhere we went it was hot an humid? Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
been 5 times, A/C always works great..stayed in the 1000,4000 and 5000 block...I set it at around 60 and keep it on Low and they always worked perfect
Last trip was around 3400 and it was not cool either. First time in 8 trips. We usually ask for 4000 or 5000 block
I didnt notice I came to the room every night around 5 and I never slept, just passed out and then in the morning some how was woke up magically and left the room at 9 again :ernaehrung005: :daveandmo:
We tried that approach to actually get some sleep (since we were sweating like in a sauna)! Seems rooms in the 4000 and 5000s are our best best this April
One big thing is to make sure you don't leave your balcony doors open. If outside air can keep getting in the AC can't handle the increased humidity efficiently. So I cross my fingers that you have better luck next time but make sure you set it good and low in the morning and give it all day to cool your room down!
I remember that night, I was um "entertaining" in my room during the outage. Felt like I was in a sauna lol
