Im not worried about the resort. It's just frustrating to me that he tells his friends that because then they razz me about it, which is frustrating. But its all in good fun. Usually get some kind of razzing from them! And im not worried about my husband or myself doing something to make the other person mad! I picked this place because my husband wanted a adults only place seeing as we are leaving our son behind we didn't want to be annoyed with other peoples kids. and I say leave the resort at night because I've been to senor frogs and carlos and charlies and I know they are a great place to go to and want my husband to go at least once! But we will see after the first night it will be the deciding factor on whether or not we will leave at night!
I agree, it is still an awesome adventure and you just catch the boat up the street. We have done it many times. Lots of "real" Mexico to experience on the Isla.
If you've been to a Mexican all-inclusives before you're probably used to there being limited night life on-site. TTR is completely different. The sexy pool is party all day until the sun goes down, not just from the entertainment staff but people are friendly and interactive, you'll make many friends. Once the sun goes down people drift off for naps (or "personal" time) and supper (either alone or with new friends), Paty'o's gets going around 8 or 9 and it's a party until the music stops at 2. Even after that there's people mingling around or heading to the sports pool for a skinny dip. You'll understand once you're there, it's not like any place you've been before. Look at the theme nights, participate if you feel like it, bring clothing you think you'll never wear and say hello to anyone and everyone. Enjoy!!!
Thanks. yes I have been to many All-inclusive resorts before. And I wouldn't go to any other kind of resort. Like I said my husband has never left the states before so it will be fun to see what he thinks! well I guess it will be a new experience for both of us to say the least!
I am pretty sure that on your 3 night visit your husband will want to stay every single night at TTR. We planned to go to CocoBongo, Isla Mujeres and other local attractions last year during our first 7 day visit and after seeing how good Patyo's is at night and the sexy pool is during the day we stayed in the resort the entire time... Heck we didn't even took naps cause we didn't want to miss the fun at the pool
