Late night partying....in or out of the resort?

We love to go out at home. Enjoy the clubs, especially electronic dance music. Every trip we plan one night out to the clubs and we never make it. Since we like the music / dancing we thought we would try Mandela or city. Maybe in October. But if you go with a good group it is almost impossible to leave the paty o party.

 

If it's your first time, stay at the resort the first couple nights and I can just about guarantee you won't want to leave the resort to party, the best party is at the resort......just my opinion.......

 

I'd say it depends on your age group and if your social enough during the day to make friends that you wanna hang out with at night. As previously stated the younger crowd tends to hit the clubs more than the older crowd.. It seems that the people waiting to go to the clubs are the ones I haven't seen drinking around the pool all day. Antisocial?? Naw.. I see the club crowd as the sleep it off all day crowd cuz I got shitfaced at the club and they brought me back to the resort in a wheelchair crowd.. Just my 2 cents...

 

In the years past we usually get enough Liquor in us that we don't make it past midnight, since we usually met up with people and start drinking bloody Marys with breakfast or not long after breakfast, That being said most of the concern was in reaction to a 52 year old that informed me he wasn't very happy with the "push" by entertainment staff to leave the resort to finish up the partying when you pay an all inclusive price. And from other concerns by much older posts to the same feeling. Evidently due to all the reactions in this thread it seems that is no longer the case which is great to hear. So hears to seeing everyone down there in a week......cannot wait, and you probably wont see me up past 1-2 am anyway, we are what you call daydrinkers, haha 6 1/2 days and counting.:beer4:

Just bring some tip money and your good to go !! We will have a blast, you won't leave... Been to TTR 8 or 9 times and have had a fantastic time, every time.... and we never leave !

 

We have only been to TTR one time but we never found the need to leave in the evening - PatyOs always was great and the party went on till at least 2AM each night.

 

I agree been 8 times left for a bar with the resort 1 time.

 

We never find a reason to leave the resort. Every time we go we plan on doing coco bongos but find ourselves having too much fun at the resort to leave.

 

coco bongo is nice if you like others to walk on your feet make sure to wear shoes, noo flip flop or heels not a good ideA, and at 12pm the drinks are watered.

I didn't like it at all!!! show was great but too much overcrowded!!
