So me and the husband are staying march 5-8. I know not long but that's all I was willing to ask my parents to watch our son. my husband keeps telling his friends were going to a swingers resort and it's making me frustrated (but that's just the way he is) Anyways I read almost all the threads so I know most answers I already had. I was just wondering if anyone knew if doing the chichen itza tour through the resort would be cheaper than booking it online?
Really! Youre only staying 3 days....i wouldnt bother going to chicken pizza you will miss all the fun.

It will be interesting to see how our stay goes. im foreseeing our pool time being at the quiet pool and not participating in activities. maybe checking out lingerie night. but the other nights we'll prob go into town.. That's just how we are usually keep to ourselves unless his friends are around. so our stay will be one for the books...to say the least! Also its his first time ever leaving the states so he wants to do as much as possible while down there! This is prob my 10th time being to mexico
Are you not ok with your husband telling everyone he's going to a swingers resort? (btw it's not really a "swingers resort"; lots of people who go have never swinged and never will) The reason I ask is because it sounds like you're not happy about him telling people that. Maybe I'm wrong, but if you are feeling uncomfortable with the resort in general, I'd advise you to have a long talk with your husband about expectations about behavior on both of your parts before you go. Lots of people go "apeshit" when they first get there and this can unfortunately lead to couples fights. Communication is key.
Totally agree! We've seen quite a few people that we just wonder.... Why, why would you put yourself through the agony.....
Welcome on the board.. First time I went there I was there for a whole week and did not pass alot of time on the board.. So I was a bit stressfull. When our vacation finish we both wanted to stay 3 mores nights, but was wayy too much expensive.. and that's why I'm a repeater this year You will love it, don't go in any tour, not worth to miss a day at TTR, and make sure to go talk to people even if you're shy, believe me it's well worth it How I describe Temptation: The only place I can be myself, the way I am and nobody say nothing I'm not skinny, and Oasis cancun by example, will not be the place I want to be Temptation for life Taste it and you will come back :cheerleaders:
If you are there for such a short time I think you are crazy to do Chichen Itza. It is a VERY LONG day in the direct heat. If you were there for a week I would say yes, it is amazing. This will be our 9th trip. Sometimes we hang around a lot with other people and sometimes we hang out by ourselves. It's whatever you want it to be. We aren't swingers and have rarely come across any awkward situations. Just because you don't want to participate in the games at the sexy pool doesn't mean you have to segregate yourselves by the quiet pool. And you want to leave the resort at night? No offense but why did you pic this resort? Sounds like you have the first time TTR jitters. Like most of us all had. Now we don't want to go anywhere else! Don't worry about it, you'll love it!
yr better off going to Isla Mujeres for the day alot closer and more fun too explore on yr owen and still get back in time for fun at the resort
