I am looking to book a room for 2 at Temptation Cancun for March 23-29. It seems like the rooms at alpharooms.com are by far the cheapest. Has anyone used this website before and can anyone clarify what they are calling a "Twin room (deluxe) with private facilities, air conditioning and balcony/terrace. sleeps 3 adults."? I don't see that on Temptation's website as any room descriptions. Thank You in advance for any help!

We have used them several times. The room type really doesn't matter as TTR will give you whatever is available so just choose the least expensive room type. And if you are booking from the US make sure you call your credit card company in advance to let them know you will be making a foreign purchase (UK). Also be sure to use Steve's link to alpharooms under the Cancun Hotel Deals forum so that Steve gets a little kick back from Alpharooms to help fund this site.

Thanks for the help! We just booked yesterday through Apharooms and got a really good rate. We also booked private airport transfer through them for approximately $50 round-trip for both of us (which makes me a little nervous because it seems really inexpensive). Have you had any experience with that? Also, since we booked the cheapest room (twin, it said?), how does the good ol' handshake with some $ work at this resort? We live in Las Vegas and it always goes a long way towards better rooms? And if it does 'help' what is the recommended amount - we are there for 5 nights. Thanks again!
