We were newbies last July. Wife packed one full bottom/top and wore it for vacation pictures to show the family. Other than that, tiny g-strings, no tops. She was damn near nude, and didn't mind at all.
Marlena wears nothing but thongs the entire time. She always buys tops with them, but never wears them.
I've been giving it thought and I think a bigger part of the problem is that bikinis are an outfit! If you don't have the top, you are missing part of the "ensemble"! It's like going out with only one shoe! I've been flashing my boobs since middle school, peaked in college at Mardis Gras, with some here and there on spring breaks in grad school etc. So I really don't care about anyone seeing my boobs. I just want to have my cute outfit complete! Doesn't mean I won't take advantage of some tan line evading sun time. But there will be tops worn part of each day for sure! If I can find cute tangas or something, I'll rock that but I'm having a hard time finding options in the "only gonna wear for 5 days" price range.
Sillyleo, this is no place for reason and logic. LOL. Besides, think of all the money you would save only buying the bottoms!
I definitely don't feel I have the thong butte,but you can buy cheapos! I even wore cheap thong underwear last year. Some target bottoms.. So you can go either way. I didn't hear any whispers lol don't care anyway. Just do what makes you happy!
In my personnel experience of TTR after few hours of blending into the vibe you really don't care what someone is or isn't wearing. And I think there is always appreciation for wearing less..and partying hard
