How do you tell your family how to reach you?

tell them your going to a topless optional resort called Temptations where staff encourages people to take their clothes off, people drink till they can't feel feelings, and people do everything they wouldn't do at home. I'm sure they will understand lol

 

We use US cellular . They charge $3 a day then any where from $1-$2min. That could add up. But if you have a Black Berry you can get a sims card in Mexico to be able to make calls there. Like buying a prepaid phone. Or there is another way you can rent a phone thro us abroad like a prepaid phone they send it to you and just send it back when done.

 

That "certain hour" had better be early!

 

We have us cellular too. When we were there (Golden Parnassus) I never got a cell phone signal, so I was unable to send/receive text. Did you get service?

 

We buy the 30 days of an international Mexico plan for our trips. With data, text and voice, it ends up being less than $70 I think? Not cheap, but it gives us peace of mind and let's us take care of a little business while we're there...if we're up to it.

Thanks everybody for your insight. We did the cell phone thing last time and even with our wireless turned off we incurred 70 dollars with a charges. We will look into the mexico plan for while we are there. Thanks

 

I just leave the number to the resort....unless someone died, i don't want to hear about it!!!!!!

 

Yes we did. I bought xtra roaming min. So when we got our bill it wasn't as bad.
