yea the 30s suck, but the negative temps we have been having really suck.especially when you work outside.so ready for thursday
I can handle the -20 below if I have to (like all last week)..but sick of moving snow, 1/2" on xmas eve/day..and I want to see green grass Dec 26th.. If all of us going to TTR liked the cold and snow..we would be vacationing in the North Pole, and not Mexico.:bandit:
Don't know how you Canadiens and Northerners live in the cold 6 to 8 months a year. I would go postal or just be one angry bitch all the time!!!
I am Miami born but have lived in Canada most my life. I have to tell you that I love it here for 8 months of the year. Beautiful summers, fresh springs and unbelievably colourful autumns. Despite my bitching, I all enjoy some winter activities too - love skiing. However I would much rather come visit Canada for a couple weeks - rent a chalet with an outdoor hot tub and ski all day and then fly down to my home somewhere much warmer. The freezing cold sucks and the snow can make driving a frightening task. 4 months of it is too much IMHO.
I feel the same way... Born and raised in San Diego... At 21 I moved to Minnesota. In two more years I will have lived in this frozen hell hole as long as I lived in San Diego. The only benefit of living in Minnesota is when we travel, our Minnesota accents are sometimes confused as Canadian Accents. People love Canadians in Costa Rica!
