None of us have perfect bodies n we all different likes n dislikes. That's what so awesome about Temptation
Tony and Mary, I don't see you guys on the April roll call?? Also email your info to Mayor Woody many of us print that roll call up and then try and find everyone on it. His info should be on the roll call, but if your having a problem I'll find it for you.
It was on the April roll call. Still is I believe. I changed our avatar since then...thus no pic. Can they change that?
I went and had another look, your on there.. different avatar... tricky...LOL OK Folks! ~ I’m putting together April’s 2014 file for us 2013 TTR April Addicts. If anyone can't open a .docx file (MS Word), I'll send it in a.PDF file to you. Please don’t send any info thru Face Book or CCC, OK? If you want to get on it, please E-mail me your: REAL 1st NAMES, CANCUNCARE SCREEN NAMES, DATES YOU’LL BE THERE (IF YOU’RE THERE MOSTLY IN APRIL) (NOT GOING TO INCLUDE FOLKS THAT ARE THERE MOSTLY IN MARCH OR MAY THIS TIME) & A PICTURE OF YOU (CLOSE-UP IF POSSIBLE), ALONG WITH YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS TO ME— vetter79@rochester.rr.com Woody -- Phone# 315-986-7450 As the list updates, I will forward it to everyone on the list that I have addresses for. Hopefully this worked out for most when we did it last year (274+) on last April’s list), so let’s see if we can do it again! Woody & Sue (We’ve booked for April 22nd – May 1st, 2014) This is the other roll call I was talking about.. we haven't done it yet either and Woody will email a new roll call every so often and then before you go print out who is going to be there the same time and then you can find them as well as we can find you. Cheers
I loved reading the outpouring of support. It shows the caliber of clientele of TTR. I have to say that I have never noticed cliques that some speak of but we only have gone in January and February. If we were not mingling, it was our own fault. Also, we have signed up and missed the Boobs Cruise several times but not because we think we're so sexy but because we were hungover, we went to the wrong meeting place or the seas were just too rough for me to handle (last year). I get nauseous so easy and know I'd be miserable all day. We want to go, though!
I'm sorry your wife felt that way on your first stay. Some people can just be assholes. I'm big and so is the husband but we have a blast every trip. I'm certain people do look and stare but I just don't let it get to me. If I spent my life worrying about what people thought about my size I'd never have any fun! About the cliques, yes there are CCC cliques at TTR but I've never met anyone who wasn't open to making new friends. Like others have said this isn't high school. Unfortunately though it's really up to you to make yourselves known. As uncomfortable as it might seem you need to recognise people from CCC (there's always a few that are identifiable from their profile) and go introduce yourselves. If you stay away from the group waiting for someone to approach you, that's not really likely to happen. I've never met a more accepting bunch of people so just introducing yourselves you'll have friends for your entire stay. I know it might feel forced and against your natural instincts but I would really urge you to try and introduce yourselves and also participate in the CCC theme nights. Nothing gets you noticed by CCC folk faster than dressing up for the themes!
One thing I forgot to mention about bigger people is that there is more to love all around. Jodie and I gain a lot of weight in the winter doing absolutely nothing but sitting on the couch, eating and watching TV & Movies, and spending way too much time on CCC rather than focusing on paper work that always needs to be done. On average I go from 160lbs in the summer somewhat in shape to 180lbs in the winter in no time flat & very round and cushy like, no matter if we eat healthy or not. Long story short we seem to cuddle a lot more in the winter then we do in the summer. Probably because there is more to cuddle and we are softer, including our hands that aren't ripped to pieces from work. In the winter time we have what we call "Fag Hands", there soft and delicate vs the summer our hands feel more like rough sand paper. (we can say that without meaning it to be rude or offensive simply because one of our employees "Gay Jay" aka "The Gay Baracuda" termed it that way.) and it has stuck ever since. I really hope all these positive responses have Big Momma & yourself ready to get down there
We have been to TTR Cancun many times in the past 7 years. Although neither of us are considered overweight (except for my wifes shoes ), we can share two things that might give you some insight into TTR. 1) We too have felt a little 'left out' on occasion -- partly because sometimes there are big groups that arrive together and want to keep to themselves, and we didn't arrange to meet anyone there. Other times, just the two of us make instant friends with more couples than we can remember - and we are a little more on the reserved side. 2) Of all the folks we have met, the couples we remember the most (and some keep in touch with) were larger people - fun, genuine, likable, and took an interest in us too. I could easily list their names (Sophie, Samantha, etc.), but I couldn't list the names of most of the hot couples we have met. These are not absolutes, but what we have concluded after going there many times. This March we will be meeting three other couples at the same time (have met them all at TTR), BUT WE WILL BE VERY APPROACHABLE -- the more the merrier ! Jeff & Jill
