Walking around with camera and zoom lens

Saying no cameras at all will probably never happen. People are on vacation creating memories they want to take pictures to always remember those memories! From what I understand they are saying no taking pictures of third parties meaning you can only take pictures of your group! If no one is pointing the camera at you then I dont see why it is a issue I guess?

 

So wait... the person was just walking around with a camera with a zoom lens... and that means he's in the wrong??????

Did he take a picture of you? Of anyone you knew? Did he even take any pictures?????

Damn... if you have THAT big of a problem that even the mere presence of a camera is offensive or threatening to you then please keep your clothes on.

I'm sorry if that offends you but your demanding that everyone never take any pictures on their vacation offends me. I've been going for years and have thousands of pictures taken by me and friends. Some friends have died and the pictures are all I have left of them. So your demands are falling on deaf ears as far as I'm concerned.

I don't take pictures of anyone I don't know, don't need too. But don't blindly threaten everyone with a camera as some here have done. If your job is that sensitive then I suggest your vacation other places until you change jobs because if it's that bad then anyone just seeing you can tell others and although there are no "pictures" everyone will know what kind of deviant you are because you even went there.

personally.... would wonder why anyone would need a large zoom lens to take pics of wife.....how about stepping closer to your subject?? .... don't mind cameras around as much as creeper guy with huge zoom lens hanging around pool... MOST...I repeat... most often... huge zooms are never needed around pools for any reputable pic taking.. just my thoughts

 

It's makes sense if it's the only lens you have with you for convenience. There's a lot of pictures to be taken off resort. And street photography works best with a zoom lens. Like I said all this is stupid.

Oh and he said zoom lens not telephoto lens there is a difference.

 

I take mine but nit for pics by the pool just sunset pics, beach pics stuff like that.
