Walking around with camera and zoom lens

Apparently some people think it is ok to walk around the resort with a camera and BIG zoom lens. (Even if the intent is to just photograph the wife) We feel this is disrespectful to the ladies and is not inline with the sexy comfortable vibe that should be created. Keep the camera put away.

And I was told to take my opinion someplace that cares. So are we wrong?

It may be disrespectful but if they are not breaking the resort rules then little can be done.
You may get every one hear to agree with you but the person who doesn't read this and brings his camera will still be out there, legally, not breaking the rules.
If this really bothers a lot of people then they should complain to the resort to change the rules, other wise the cameras will always be there.

Been down this road before. We have all taken pictures on our vacations. As long as we do it in a respectful manner ( taking only pictures of the ones we are with or our friends with permission) then no problem. Now if they try to take pictures without our permission or in a creepy way, then the camara may be going for a swim.

 

If the guy is sitting in a reserved, premier members ,sexy pool lounger next to a single guy, it s OK to take pictures as long as its not of the construction .

I always take my camera even at TTR, I never take pictures of anyone but our group. I dont feel like its being disrespectful as long as your not being a creep and taking pictures of people you dont know. I am a photographer so there is not many places I go that I dont have some sort of camera with me.
