Ok Adriana, I'm a little confused. We booked to arrive April 28, booked through CheapCaribbean.com, and our reservations say "Ocean Standard", they make no mention of Flirt, Spice, Seduction, etc... If you have a contact for the actual management, let me know. Don't wanna "shoot the messenger" or anything, just want full clarification and disclosure. I have to tell you, that these little things keep adding up and had I known all of this up front, I doubt I would have booked GOV. Listen, let's be honest here. Some of these are just bad policies, plain and simple, and are not worthy of being defended.
I am not saying I agree with it at all or the safe fees either . I would highly doubt she likes them as well. Just pointing out she is giving us the answers to the questions. Have no clue how to get a hold of upper management. Lol. I'm sure if not happy we can find them when we get there if we have to Btw. I did laugh when you asked if you get a credit for arriving late. That was funny.
Well at least we are getting answers. Upgrade for Sian suite approx $98 US a night, sounds very reasonable, if the suite looks as nice as the photos & a hot tub! We will certainly look into that. We luckily chose a Spice room when we booked through Expedia so either way we will have a remodeled room. We also have never been charged a fee to use a resorts amenities after check out while waiting for our pick up time to another resort and/or the airport. But I would gladly pay the $220 MXN, about $17 US for the food & drinks there instead of paying 5 times that amount at the Cancun airport. We'll probably pay for a safe too, buy some premium alcohol & mixers, snack food and whatever for after 1am partying! We do have Member benefits at another resort and are seeing if they have any openings on the dates we booked GOV, flipping back & forth on whether to cancel or stay and hope (plead,beg,pray,cry,whatever) for the best!
Well I must say that had we known about all the extras we probably would not be going to gov however since we leave Monday the 10th feb we won't have any choice but I can guarantee you this , if we get nickelled and dimes to death for the all inclusive we won't be back and neither will anyone we know,,,just Saying!!!! If threads are aimed at getting answers from a hotel representative then let them reply, maybe ask a supplementary question and then move on. There's a specific thread to ask hotel representatives yet we've got questions scattered all through the forum and then people complain that they haven't been answered, we've also got questions that have already been answered being asked again and again. It makes their job so much more difficult if everyone piles in with an opinion and clutters threads up with debate. If you want to debate their response please do it in a new thread.
Hey, the extra 220 MXN is just in case you still want to use the facilities: buffet restaurant, pool, bars. If you don´t want to pay extra you could wait at the lobby until your transportation arrives. On the other hand it also depends the time you checked in. If you arrive at 03pm, 04 or later we probably can make an exception and let you use the bracelet until the same time at check out. We can´t guarantee because it depends on each case.
