Important Information for People Going Feb 8 - Feb 15th.

We have friends who just arrived at TTR today, The hotel is completely over booked, they are offering people free upgrades to desires. We are not taking the upgrade, we are staying at TTR, but be prepared....

 

This is not that uncommon, we wont be moving either, at least I dont think so.
I dont understand why they do this, perhaps to fill up the other resorts?

If they dont have a room for me I am going to be pissed off, we did the express checkin and everything.
Now if they offer me a upgrade in the hotel I am ok with that.

 

Its not uncommon, but my understanding, the overbooking is worse then normal. We have been here 5 times and have seen this before, but from what I am getting its worse then ever, as far as over booking.

I dont get it....

 

Hopefully there is something left for us tomorrow night... we don't get there until 8:30pm! We might be sleeping on a beach bed!

 

Oh NO.. We arrive on Sunday and we don't want to change resorts either..

 

The offer to move is for the weekend, allowing you to come back on Sunday night, so by weekend end it should be better.

 

I don't really get how a hotel can 'over book'...surely their computer systems will show when the Hotel is booked up fully...or maybe do they 'over book' with the hope people don't show up!?

 

That's good to hear. I really don't want to move to Desire. How does the Boobs Cruise work on Sunday if they bump you to Desire? We are scheduled to arrive mid-day tomorrow. Not much I can do about it, I suppose.

 

You will still go to the Boobs Cruise, just have to get ransfered back to TTR, We arrive tomorrow at 11 am, we are not taking to upgrade to Desires. They are not making you do it. I spoke with my friends a little while ago.
