Does anyone know whats the room number to the two rooms that share the BIG ASS balcony on the second floor near the quiet pool area??? ALSO.. Has anyone stayed in those rooms themselves?.. i know people love to use the balcony for little parties and gatherings but does it ever bother any of the other guests since it IS inconveniently located near the quiet pool area? ALSO.. i know theres a couple rooms at the FARRRR east end of the hotel that have a HUGE space, almost like a little living room..which of the two rooms would be best for little room/balcony parties..
Room 2101 is the best at TTR if you want to party and no sleep Room 1229 & 1231 if you want the biggest and badest deck parties, quite pool area, 2nd floor Room 4301 if you want to be close to the sexy pool & cigar lounge. Room 1119 is Garden View just opposite Room 2101 near Tex Mex - Small Room Room 1116 is a Jacuzzi Suite first floor, facing quiet pool and next to Nice Shoes Room 1129 is a Jacuzzi Suite too, just dont have sex with the curtains open and hot tub deck shade pulled down - People can see you from the restaurant Room 3308 is facing the sexy pool 2nd floor, end of hall way right on the corner - We hid "sweetchildofmine" rubber chicken under the sink - try to find it and then hide it somewhere else in the hotel for the next CCC member 5000 block, rooms are tiny, balconies even smaller, too far to walk in my opinion
http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/members/donald-albums-don-bonnie-picture6688-room-numbers.jpg I know the feeling , the waiter at Ballavista , would say , Nice to see you again'' , with a grinn, we also had 1129 3 years in a row, there a little corner staff like to hide there and a window straight in to the restaurant
Lenni and Jodie are correct... the two rooms that share one big ass balcony near the quiet pool area are 1229 and 1231. As Derek said, we stayed in 1229 last March. At first we thought it was cool having a big balcony. But, because you shared with someone else it made it feel less like your own space. Plus, because it was next to a corner room.... the side of our balcony adjoined another (third) room's balcony. (So three rooms faced out onto our balcony.) We were there ten days and had four different sets of neighbors in the adjoining rooms; and only one couple ever came outside. So we pretty much had the space to ourselves. (One couple that we never saw outside their room put on a couple of great xxx-rated shows for us (no we weren't creeping on them.... it seemed like they waited until we were out on the balcony and then they pulled back the blinds and said "okay let's put on a show"). One major drawback to having that balcony arrangement is that there is a big window on the left side of it that opens to one of the second floor corridors.... that meant everyone walking down that corridor was able to see everything going on out on our balcony. And we had the pleasure of having several young single guys make obscene gestures at us as they passed by the window. We are party people and like to entertain .... but because of the shared arrangement and the window into the hallway, we never felt like it would be a great balcony for entertaining. Though we may have felt differently if we had known our neighbors (or if they were more social). The previous year we stayed in room 2229 (which we tried to get when we got "stuck with" 1229). That room is over the lobby and faces out onto the street. But it has two balconies and is a much larger than a standard room. The view sucks... but as I said, we like to entertain, so we had a couple of fairly large gatherings in our room and both balconies were utilized.
We had room 1337 and it was directly above the large balcony... Great view but 2 double beds...we just snuggled closer... Close to everything and we didn't mind the stairs, took my heels off to climb them lol
Oh Sheldon... now that you mention it, the silhouette did look familiar... but it never occurred to us to be someone we knew. Guess we really didn't take much notice of the faces. Hmmm.... I guess we wouldn't be very good eye witnesses. Too funny!
