I got my first tattoo about 10 years ago (I'll be 51 in April) and now I have 7. I've heard of people much older getting them so I don't think there's an age limit really. I look forward to playing "guess what this used to be" in the old age home lol
Just don't get one on resort!!!! My friend and I both did this last year, we both ended up with crappy scarred tattoos that got infected. I was off work for 2 weeks after I got back from TTR due to the staph infection they sent me home with, I was in and out of emergency being watched for a bone infection. I emailed the resort and the 'tattoo artist' (who also says he's a dermatologist) and no one even bothered to email me back.
I don't think they allow tatoos (or people with tatoos) in Mexico... (so I have heard) but it sounds pretty bogus to me as a lot of people have them.
I always plan my Tatts in time to be completely healed. I have several layers of new skin on before I start Tanning for the next trip, so the Sun & Pool are never a problem. I did get Mike Morales @ Temptation to do me a New Tattoo the day I left in September. It was perfect and I never had a problem with it. But I never went back into the water or sand and left it wrapped up till I arrived home.
For us...........we can understand that tats can be addictive......and we know piercings can be..........but we've slowed down a bit!
Lol that's what I've always thought! I don't have any but thought about nursing home workers and what they will see since tats so popular now. When my Dad was there one man on his wing had a Penile implant or pump! He was popular! Lol on serious note, it's amazing the works of art people have! I can see it would be addicting!
