Hmmm. Good feedback on The City. Now I'm not sure I want to go! Doesn't sound like a fun crowd. I can certainly handle myself but I like some space to dance so will be more annoying than fun from the sound of it. Shame since it sounds like an amazing venue but I guess there is no happy medium between the empty dance floors in Central FL and packed ones of Cancun. Such is life! Will play by ear. Good thing we picked Cancun for Temptations, not downtown. Haven't bothered with search since this was specific to my week - guess I could have buried in roll call. Since I've seen the at least 3 different posts about suites in the past 2 weeks, I didn't think it was an issue to re-ask questions. I know other forums get picky about that so I shall avoid that in the future (though without getting into a long explanation, there is a reason I don't want to post some of my questions at the end of threads that were started years ago). But thank you for the honest review of The City! Will very likely save out time and money and just enjoy white/glow night at the resort.
We will def be hitting at least one club this year. This will be out third time there and we haven't done any clubs. Can't wait to get a group together to go and party.
Haven't been to The City before, so I can't comment. However Cocoa Bongos was a blast. From dancing in the area we had been shown to, to dancing on the bar.... It's a must to do again.

You can also dance in the "stands" around the dance floor... sure you're not going to get in a full grab the foot and hand on the back of the head moves but unless you need 10 feet to dance rather than just getting your grove on by moving your body you should be alright. There are taxis outside.. but they are not cheap and always, always negotiate the price BEFORE getting in the cab. For coming from the hotel zone out, $10 would be a good price, $15 would be OK but more than that, would be outrageous seeing how the bus is $1 each and might get you there 5 minutes later. OH.. and ask away, that's what this forum is for. Some folks are good at using the search and some are not. But never, ever feel reluctant to ask a question. We are all about educating folks trying to find out about their vacation before they go, not after. We were all newbies once. Jamie
