We've toyed with spending an evening at Coco Bongo's every year, yet every year, we just end up partying with our friends at Paty O's.
Last year we did one of the organized trips to the clubs off resort. It was ok. Paty O's is way better. We had the most fun staying on the resort. We would head over to the bar at the Quiet pool before dinner for a few drinks and to mingle.
we decided not to leave the resort much this trip. We generally plan at least 1 day away from the resort but we've been to Cancun so many times now that it's just really not needed.. I've heard good things about the bar down from TTR with the free wifi it has been recommended to people in the past that need to get online for work and stuff that dont want to pay for it
Same here. ...talk about going to Coco Bongos every time we're at TTR but why pay for drinks when u can drink all u want for free?
You won't be disappointed with Coco Bongo. Pay $50 all you can drink and amazing show. You'll talk about it as if it was one of the highlites of your trip-and it is. The pirate ship is a nice little walk too.
Thanks for all your replies , I wasn't really after a club like bongo's . :huepfen013: Just somewhere to sit and chill for an hour or two recuperating from the hard days fun and antics at the pool before starting again at night :sunny:. Cheers. Leeroy
There is a place called Lataberna, spelling is probably wrong but it's Steve local hang out, nice place too, pool tables, real mexico, sports bar atmosphere and the food was pretty good too
Sounds like we might do a little bar hopping this year. TTR is great but I think it would be cool to check out a couple of the "walking distance" places. We don't have much interest in Coco Bongos either.
PadyO's from 5-7 is usually more quiet as folks are stopping by for a drink on the way to dinner. Nice place to just kick back and watch the world go by before dinner. That way, when she's ready, she can swing by and grab you and you're off... may even meet some other folks just kicking it and before you know it you're off to dinner together... Oh and the drinks are free. And the Bartenders will be more than happy to exercise your spanish and they really don't laugh that much if you mess up. For several years I spent time learning one word a night and getting it drilled into my brain.. like I can ask for an ashtray like a pro.. then I quite smoking... oh well.. now what was straw again Dany?
