Going to TTR Oct 27th- Nov4th, then on to Secrets Capri for 5 days & 4 nights. Went to Desire RM last year after TTR & loved it. Question: has anyone been to this Secrets or any other, trying to get a feel of what's to come. HALLOWEEN 2014
Yes we have been there, and Secrets Silver Sands. Liked SSS alot. Capri not so much.Capri is more higher end and we find the more expensive the less fun it is. Food and resort are great. Also Capri has the best sports bar Ive ever seen at a resort. But like so many places, bar closed at 1 and lights out most all common areas.
We went to secrets silver sands. The resort was very nice and the food was great especially the shrimp tacos. The room service was also great with the little box where they left your food so you did not have to answer the door. It was very laid back resort with very few guest activities compared to Temptations.
I have been to Secrets Capri four or five times. Love it! In fact last time we were at TTR in 2011 we spent the last four days of the trip at Secrets Capri. You will love it if you are looking for relaxation and recovery from the TTR party. Food is good. The Asian and Italian are my favorites. The pool bar is great. Say hi to Juan for us! Another question, how long does the club stay open, & how is the room service- service. Plus the bartenders drink menu.
Club is only open till 2 or so if I remember right. It is a party atmosphere during the day at the pool bar but more serene at night. Room service is pretty good- runs 24 hour. You have a mini bar stocked in your fridge that they will replenish each day. Room service will deliver food, liquor, beer, bottled water at any time. Draft beer is Corona, Corona Lt. or Modelo Especial. Negra Modelo by the bottle. Much better liquor options as compared to TTR but as I said, serene. Bartenders are fabulous. They seem to have an endless amount of mixed drink options. Tell them what type of liquor you want and they can always mix you up something new to try.
