Well said . anyone sticking their nose into my business whilst I am trying to take innocent pictures of my holiday will get a short sharp shock. Who do these people think they are, just because someone has been more than once don't make them sheriff.
Just to clarify what Sarah was stating. This was not someone trying to take an innocent picture of their friends or spouse. On School Girl night a whole group of men were taking pictures of us as we posed for pictures away from the crowd for our husbands. Some were polite and asked if they could take a picture but most did not. And the others that she is talking about were taking pictures of the games and I know their partners were NOT partaking in the festivities so no reason for them to take pictures. And one guy who was asked to not take a picture actually said he didn't give a fuck and he would just take it when we were not looking. In my eyes that is very disrespectful and if we can't respect each other then it stops being fun. Another guy had his girlfriend/wife pose in front of the games going on at the pool. This was during Iron Woman and it was very evident that his partner was NOT the subject of the photo but the game in the background was. Again he had to be asked several times to delete the picture by the others in the group Sarah and I were with and he still continued to take pictures. So again--no problem with people taking pictures and honestly if you really want my boobies in the background I don't really care but if someone asks you to not take pictures of them directly I think it should be respected.
Go ahead take my picture I'm 47 years old and in the best shape of my life. 5'-2" tall 107lbs. I'm only doing what others think about and never do! Life is short my friends live large while you can!
Now that is funny! SHY? Hoping ALL our paths cross again real soon. PS Don't piss off Security while your there, we arrive soon after. :aktion033:
I guess we're happy that you won't be there when we are given all your efforts researching your right to deny others privacy, enjoy your photos.
My wife is still rather prudish as far as letting anyone take her picture (Naked, toppless or fully dressed). She works for a school district that has some very specific specs on what is described as "Unprofessional Behavior". Nude and/or toppless photographs are at the top of the list. Our lawyer always told us we were really crazy to go to Hedo. She is very, very worried about the type of men we saw in Jamaica, the ones that sit on their balcony and use a Telephoto lens to "capture" every gal he can. Really the only defense is to wear wear a BIG HAT and BIGGER SUNGLASSES. The backup plan is to tell everyone that sees the pixs "OMG, thats my long lost identical first cousin Nadine". Or "That ain't me, my hooters are much prettier than those" Yeah ,not a huge worry, but hey, my wife just likes to worry.
Every year on this forum we get 2 recurring debates: Cameras n single guys. As far as cameras i've seen both sides. I've seen people be creeps (men n women) n take unauthorized pics of other people. I've also seen people overreact for no reason at someone taking pics of his group of friends. It's a slippery slope. I know some people have jobs or communities or family that wouldn't be accepting of them being half naked on vacation which i never understood. How is it someone else's business what you do on your free time, on vacation in a different country for god's sake. But such is the world we live in
Whats really crazy about this camera issue, is when looking through peoples albums, there are TONS and TONS of pool pics and PatyO pics with people all in the backgrounds. Hell, I even saw me and my wife in a couple of random pics! We laughed thought is was cool. I can see though where a school teacher might get a little nervous about random pics. My wife doesnt want her topless pic taken by strangers, .........that is until after about her 3rd Margarita. Then she may ask you to take it. LOL
And with either subject when someone starts threatening with "emergency dental work" it's going to heat up quickly, and some challenger wants to know "just how big a boy are you, anyway?" :lighting1:
