March Boobs Cruise Dates Announcement

We're planning to run cruises on the following dates in March:

Saturday 1st March - Deposits open here
Monday 3rd March cancelled and re-arranged for
Wednesday 5th March - Deposits open here
Sunday 9th March - Deposits open here
Saturday 15th March - Deposits open here
Thursday 20th March - Deposits open here
Tuesday 25th March - Deposits open here
Sunday 30th March - Deposits open here


Each cruise will open up for deposits one month before. So 3rd March will open for deposits on 3rd February etc. etc.

Each time a cruise opens a sign up thread will be posted and I'll link to it from here and from the roll call. Each cruise will need 25 deposits paid to reach confirmed status, and the maximum for each cruise is 65. If we don't reach confirmed status one week before the proposed date, then all deposits are refunded and the cruise is cancelled.

Rationale for cruise dates

Unlike most months where we tend to have clusters of large numbers of people around certain dates and then quiet periods, for March 2014 it is different and we have a fairly uniform number of people every day throughout the month.

Going by the roll call, the numbers on each day are fairly low (20's to 30's) though compared to other months. I think this is because February and April are our busiest months and annual repeaters tend to migrate to one or the other. It's also Spring Break which some try to avoid and others will have family vacations since kids are off school.

Therefore we are going to try and run cruises fairly evenly throughout the month and hope we can meet the minimum of 25 we need to run.

The roll calls are becoming less and less reliable for numbers when selecting dates as many people don't post their dates there and if they do I dont always know if they are posting on behalf of a couple or a group. These days we also pull people in from our Facebook group, via email and PM requests and from the separate Boobs Cruise web page. And of course, new people join the forum every day.

Lets see how the dates above go provisionally, but we may have to make changes as time progresses.
