I have witnessed people taking pictures during the shows in the evening at Nice Shoes. I mean really. Have some respect.
A-GREED! My booty tends to have a mind of its own, since it has it's own zip code compared to the rest of me, so I may be doing a lot of all over the area dancing and bumping into things. "OOPS! I am SO sorry!!!!" (eye lash bat, eye lash bat, eye lash bat)
And, yes, I would LOVE to participate in games but I CANNOT end up on YouTube since I sub and coach HS athletics. My HS kids would likely find me in about 4 seconds! For some reason, Samuel L. Jackson's line in Avengers when he has Loki in the holding cell is repeating in my mind "Boot. Ant." But I would be motioning to me and the picture taking device.
Until they make the rule clearer , they will always have this problem ''Avoid'' means different thing to different people.
This wasn't people just taking pictures of their group, wife, friend ect. This was people taking random pictures of others they don't know (including our group), games, and the entire pool, event, area. We took plenty of pictures every night of our large group. We always stepped aside away from everyone else and never included anyone. Almost every night we had an issue of someone taking a picture of us when we were posing for our husbands to take the shot. Then there were the guys taking pics during games and at the pool too of just anyone and everyone. I know for a fact they didn't know the people they were taking pics of because they were of our group many times, and we didn't know them.
We would mention it to staff and security and they would do nothing. They did not care. If the guy at Paty-O's camera would have been damaged it would have been very obvious since he was in the now exclusive Premier area. It is just a bad situation. The hotel staff came off that if something would have been done about it then we would have been the ones dealing with the consequences not the camera jerks.
These are the rules as they appear on the Website • Please dress appropriately in all the restaurants of Temptation. • Due to the nature of our Resort, please respect all guests. • Avoid taking photos or videos in public areas. • Please refrain from sexual activities in public areas. Until they say ''no pictures'' instead of avoid some will interpret that in their own way, and there will always be conflicts . When their drunk and they see others taking pictures ( of their group), some will think thats a green light for pictures. Clarification and posting of the rules would easily solve this
Yup. Ambiguity leads to many interpretations. Sadly the douchebags and creepers will ensure that eventually there will be no pictures of any kind ever.
We are bringing our new Nikon digital SLR with the 300mm zoom lens. Plan on sitting on my patio next to the sexy pool every afternoon and fill that 64 gig memory card! :headbanger::headbanger::headbanger::headbanger: kidding... There is a sign that says NO pictures during the games. We do take pictures during all aspects of our trip, but only of us and friends of ours. i.e. we will face the camera away from the crowd and pool.
I think the majority of decent human beings follow those rules. It's the few bad apples... In April there's enough CCC people there that inappropriate camera usage seldom seems to last long. Plus the TnT crew can be persuasive too I wonder if it's months with less CCC participation that are more of a problem?
