September 2013 was our first time there. We had soooooooo much fun we couldn't wait to go back! As a matter of fact on the flight home we started planning our next trip which is May 28-June 3! Happy Birthday to me!!!! lol
I think everyone is very nervous the first trip to TTR.We sure were. Not knowing what to expect..what to wear Theme nights and all the above but once you get there and see what it's all about..You will LOVE it! May 2014 will be our 4th trip in a row.Best vacations we have ever had

We did our 10th anniversary there this past November. We casually mentioned it at check in and wound up getting a few bonus things...bottle of sparking wine in our room, room was decorated and a lobster dinner coupon. If you are playing a game on that day let the ET's know as well...you will probably get something there as well (they will announce your anniversary)
What dates in May will you be there? Our first trip I was SO NERVOUS!! The forum definitely helped prepare me for the trip though.. lol Tony still makes fun of me because it took me almost 2 days to take off my top at the pool and then the last time there within the first few mins I was topless.. Talk to as many people as possible and you'll have no problems!

That's be of the great things about TTR. It doesn't matter whether its your first time or tenth time. People treat you like you have been friends forever there. Just be yourself and enjoy the party
It will be our first time (April 26-May 3). We are not nervous, but very excited to have some adult fun without the kids.......
I hear that!!!! My kids know we are going on a vacation and keep asking why they can't come. The 4 year old keeps giving me the pouty face - sorry, sister!! Ya ain't coming, no matter how cute ya are! Makes me even more glad we booked where kids CANNOT come - no way they can wear me down!!
Hi Both, don't even worry about being nervous, we were there for a week in November, the worse thing is getting home, found we couldn't live without the fix, so booked yesterday for 14 -28 May, still nervous !! Cant wait 104 days to go.... Quite a few are concerned about being topless ( a few men are too !!) but nothing you wouldn't see in the Med. Make sure you book for Steve's Boobs Cruise..a lovely, sedate cruise on the ocean, odd sherbet, afternoon tea, very relaxed, no formal nights so you wont need a tuxedo ! (come on folks you cant tell the truth can you ???). Make sure Sarah prepares some "outfits" for the evening, you'll have a blast.......welcome to the Mayhem..
