March 2014 Roll Call

March 4-11

This will be our second time at TTR. This time were going with 2-3 other great couples!!

March bumping??

Quick question for my March friends and repeat veterans have any of you heard seen or experienced "over sold" March rooms where you end up getting bumped to a sister resort, that would be a bummer

In 15 trips we've never had any issues, being polite and friendly seems to work wonders!

 

Yes we seen it often , you can get bump to Desire pearl for a few days. You can also go at Temptation front desk every morning and ask if they are over book , if they are you can ask to go Desire pearl for a few days, this will give you a chance to visit pearl. Temptation is responsible for the transfer to and from

 

Yes last march they offered us three days at Desire as they were overbooked. We politely refused and it wasn't a problem. As for anyone arriving on a late flight yikes!!!

 

Heading down for our second trip to TTR on March 26th thru April 1st. Can't wait!!!

 

Bumped

Our 'booked' room was unavailable last March when we arrived. They were going to send us to Desire for 3 days. We told them we were meeting friends, and asked when they could have a room for us the next day. Miraculously, a suite was available for us (the huge ones at the top/end of the quiet section beyond the quiet pool) at 2pm the next day. Instead of going to Desire, we crashed with those friends for one night, then had a great room at no extra charge to us for the rest of our stay. As JenandTodd mentioned, being polite certainly helps.

 

March 2-9/2014

I cannot wait to vacation and meet people here! It will be our first time visiting this resort, and Mexico for that matter. Counting down the days.
