I tried setting up a thread about 2 weeks ago for idea's on themes for the nights the resort didn't have any so that then everyone could vote on a poll of what ideas were thrown out there but ......yea that was not very successful at all. 5 or 6 posts and it died out. Oh well it just sounds like we should focus more on the 1am beach parties that will be sponsored by the guests lol.....here is some tips * everyone download music of your choices onto your iPhone/iPods and keep batteries fully charged. * we will bring our Beats Pill speaker that plays thru blue tooth , sounds awesome ( it better for the $200 it cost) and it lasts 7hrs on a full charge !!! * everyone save that huge 1liter EMPTY bottle of water and bring it to the pool side in your beach bag .......a few guys or gals will have to pretend to drink vodka,rum or whiskey straight up with no ice once an hour and we just dump it into "EMPTY" bottle.....by the end of the night we will have bottles of booze to mix with the soda in the mini fridge to continue our 1 am beach party.....lol ANYONE ELSE LIKE THAT IDEA?
You are both definitely onto something in terms of us, as a group, getting a party going. Though, I think it is too early to give up on having a great party and making our own fun before 1 AM. We are only there only 3 days April 3 - April 6 and would definitely like to participate in themes and/or other fun CCC group activities. Let's keep the talk going and to ensure that we put something together.
I like the idea of using the two liter bottle as a drink holder at beach Should last a few minutes . Getting drinks to slowly fill it up though sounds very time consuming Buying some cheap booze at duty free might be a better plan for us anyway I think we will make it a great time plus the many other people that will be there not on ccc to meet and join in the party as well
We are hoping that by early April the bars are open past 1 am and we can just party and enjoy the theme nights...........I am just trying to put together a plan B in case they don't have it straighten out by then. Although it seams like the crazy foam party in the pool is a go every Saturday according to a pic posted by sarah69 and a question asked by Steve and Sarah responded yes every Saturday. Looks like changes are happing slowlyyyy...
That is exactly why I set up this thread, so we could all get to know each other, make sure we find each other at GOV, and make our own party. As it has been said many times before, the PEOPLE make the party so we will have no issue having a blast at GOV if we get together and make it happen. I bet we will have multiple people that are not on CCC join us. I believe most people (even fuddy duddies) like to have fun on vaca.... They just need to be around people who make it 'OK'.... I bet we could even have a party on the bus, on the way to walmart....:lotsofmichaelfs:
