Hubby and I looked for the famous "blue tent" down the beach for massages last August when we were there and didn't see it...we ended up getting massages at the TTR spa. We got a couples massage, not the sensual couples massage, just a relaxing massage the day before we came home. Nice way to end a great vaca....

we did the sensual massage last February at TTR, I'll break it down without spoiling it, ours was a start in a hot tub relaxing, then brought into a room each on a separate table, its a very light touch massage both front and back, no special place touching haha.. after that they had us massage each other and get each other going and eventually left the room for us to finish doing our thing... it is well worth the money in our opinion!
Here we go... We did a little planning before this year's trip to Cancun. We knew we MUST get a massage, but where to start looking? Right here on CCC, right? We read a few VERY vague reviews of different massages all over town. We've had massages on the beach last year on Isla, but didn't plan on going over there this year and decided that we wanted something else, maybe something a little different than what we could just get anywhere. As you've read in the previous posts, there are 3 locations that everyone keeps mentioning. Claudia with A Touch of Magic in Puerto Morelos, Temptation Spa's Massages, and the Massages Tent beside the Albatros Marina which is right beside Temptation. After contemplating where to start and reading TONS of comments, we decided to go with Claudia, who owns A Touch of Magic (link to her Facebook page) We scheduled our appointment about a month in advance for Monday. I do not know how much advance notice she needs, but she only schedules 2 couples massages per day. Price is $190 per couple plus tip. A Touch of Magic is located in Puerto Morelos, which is about a 45 minute cab ride ($45) or an hour bus ride ($3/ea). If you have no idea where you're going like the situation we were in, I'd recommend starting with the cab & then Claudia can point you in the right direction to get back to your resort. Back to the details... Claudia has a 1 room unit on the 2nd floor of her building. It is decorated nicely with aromatherapy and soothing music immediately putting you at ease. We began by sitting in the 2 chairs and discussing our previous experience with massages and then went over what we should expect from the experience and how we would both be involved in the massage so we could learn how even the slightest touch can change everything. Sounds fun, right?! She then proceeded to have my wife remove all of her clothing and lay on the massage table. After lightly massaging the entire backside of her body for about :25, she was turned over & began the frontside massage with a small towel covering her eyes to enhance the experience. About :15 into the massage I was motioned to join. With both of us now massaging her. She showed me different techniques to use and where to use them, wink wink. Yes, this is a very...personal massage, but not in the creepy sense. It was very sensual. This went on for about another :10 until she motioned for me to take my seat again while she finished the massage. At the completion of the massage, my wife lay motionless and covered for :5 while Claudia stepped out of the room. She explained that laying motionless for a few minutes allows the individual to take everything in and relax for a few more minutes. WOW did it ever. I swear she fell asleep but she insists that she didn't and that she was just so overwhelmed with the touches that she couldn't move. It every bit of my will power to not jump on the table with her, but I remembered Claudia saying that I should remain seated. Ugh. Okay. After a few minutes, Claudia returned to the room with some water and towels to dry the oils from my wife's body. Once done drying her off, it was my turn. I had the same experience. She massaged my backside and then continued with the same motions on the frontside as previously mentioned. HOLY SMOKES. I watched what was going on before, but feeling and seeing are two completely different things. It was truly and amazing experience which we will both gladly do again. On Wednesday afternoon we were sitting by the sexy pool taking in the sun and enjoying everything going on. When the clouds started to roll in I looked at my wife and asked if she'd like to take a walk up the beach and see where these massage tents were. I received the look I was expecting, like this was a rhetorical question. The tent is literally right on the other side of the Albatros Marina, on the beach. Maybe a :5 walk and pretty easy to find. Price for a :50 minute massage is $40 each plus tip. There was no wait so we figured we'd proceed. We both laid on the tables and were then covered with towels and our clothing adjusted to facilitate the massage. Overall, it was a pretty typical massage and priced appropriately. Friday. Last full day in Cancun. Rain. Rain. Rain. Ugh. Now what?! The resort staff moved all of the events into the pool room & Nice Shoes. We decided that it was likely pretty packed and that we'd probably avoid it today (hindsight's 20/20. Everyone said it was an absolute blast). What the heck, why not get ANOTHER massage. This woman's looking at me like I've lost my mind, and maybe I have. This will be the 4th massage in my life that wasn't given by her. We decided to schedule the Sensual Massage Package that Temptation offers. The Massage is $196/couple, or you can do the package which includes wine & a :15 soak in the hot tub for $230. We opted for the package this time since it was our first time there. We started by going our different ways into the changing rooms which had restroom facilities, showers, and lockers for our clothing. In the lockers were bath robes and towels. We both kept our swimwear on and proceeded to the hot tubs, which were open to the main hall & separated by only a curtain. It was okay, but not the community setting made it less romantic I guess. We poured a couple glasses of wine and soaked until we were asked to step out and dry off. We were then escorted to our massage room where there were two ladies wore masquerade-type masks. We were asked to remove our clothing and lay under the towels while the massage therapists stepped out. After a couple minutes, they both returned and proceeded massaging lightly with warm oils sensual touches. Once the backside massage was completed, about :20, we were asked to lay on our backs with our eyes covered once again. After about :15 minutes, my therapist removed the towel from my eyes and had me join the other massaging my wife. While we both massaged her, my therapist continued the sensual massage switching between she & I continuously, for about another :15. 6 hands on her! Once this time was completed, they left us alone to take care of the personal touches in our own privacy with no specified time for us to be done. We continued our own massage and whatnot, then went back to the showers where we cleaned up and waited for each other by the reception desk. Overall, this was a great experience also. I don't think the package price was worth it, but we did enjoy the massage portion. Overall, the only massage that we both felt WOWed afterwards was Claudia's. We literally sat in the bus speechless and peaceful the entire bus ride back to the resort. The trip is a little far, but if you have the time it was definitely worth it. Talk to each other and decide what is best for you and go from there. (I'll likely be writing a trip report later also, so there will be some dupication. I figured I'd add this here as it was specifically requested.)

Well apparently at 3am I am VERY long winded. For the 3rd time in the last 5 days, I woke up after sleeping for an hour & couldn't go back to sleep. I doubt I even said that many words last week. All I needed was Si, No, dos mas por favor, & zapatos agradables.
