Is Temptation Resort Right for me.. because I heard....

OK.. for all those that have never been and are concerned about exactly what type of place Temptation Resort and Spa is…. Here’s the honest to God truth!

Temptation is an adult only all-inclusive resort. So you WILL see partial nudity (i.e. topless females) and the occasional drunk person.

The hotel rules prohibit full nudity anywhere on the resort outside of your room or the occasional entertainment staff lead game around the pool (yes they do sometimes get buck naked in front of God and everybody in those from time to time, not required to play the game but sometimes encouraged). The rule states you will be escorted from the hotel if you run around naked.

Reality is that the first time you run around naked you will be escorted to your room. Do it again and you will be escorted from the hotel. Do people occasionally run around naked? It’s been seen but it is not a common as some folks profess on the website. There are people here that want it to be a clothing optional resort, but that will never happen as it is in town and public nudity is against the law in Mexico (yes they have laws in Mexico).

Hotel rules prohibit sex in public. If you get caught having sex in public you will be escorted from the hotel. In reality, see nudity above. Yes it happens, there are some folks that have sex on their balconies and don’t mind if you watch. But not everyone does, not everyone has seen a “Balcony show” and there are no loud active cheerleading sections when does happen. Chances are you will never see one unless you are pre-alerted or know a couple that practices the art. So random live sex act viewing at the resort is rare.

Yes people will have sex in the pool.. if you watch closely in the hot tubs in the late afternoon you might see a couple by themselves trying their level best to be nonchalant in they hugging but somehow seem to have a steady rhythm going.. others may be at the side of the pool… you don’t see much, but you have a strong feeling as to what is going on and everyone seems to smile and turn away.

Yes, people will profess loudly that they have had wild announced sex in the pool… whatever.. in the 30 some weeks I’ve been there over the years ain’t no one ever shouted “Hey everybody, we’re having sex over here!” Not once, ever..

Can you have sex on the beach.. yes.. sometimes… It’s not allowed and the guards are supposed to stop by and remind you of that… some of them stop by to make sure that the lady on the bottom actually wants to be on the bottom and is there of her own free will. If they stop by, do not give them shit, do not argue with them.. they are doing their job. Be nice say OK and they will probably walk away and leave you along.. they know having sex on the beach is fun but they don’t want to get fired over letting someone else get lucky and seeming to do nothing about it. If they warn you and walk away then they tried to stop you. J If all else fails, walk down the beach either direction till you cross the line outside the resort and go at it again. The resorts on either side do not have nighttime security. That being said, most of the time they will just watch the show and take notes.

Can you bribe them to go away? You can try. You can try and bribe just about anyone at the resort to do anything you want. Will it work? Sometimes. Will the employee be fired on the spot if they get caught taking a bribe? Absolutely. Do they know what they are risking by taking that bribe? Yes they do. How often would you resist a bribe being offered to you? And do know that the resort has several camera’s and management folks walking around to try and catch their employees breaking the rules. Just stating the facts so you know the full story when you reach in your pocket for a bribe. J

Are they swingers at the resort? Yes. Is it a swingers resort? No. There are swingers at every resort on the planet. Just like there are fat people, and skinny people. Having them there doesn’t make it a fat or skinny person resort… unless they are the majority. But at Temptation the only majority here is people looking to have a great time.

People do hook up and drift up to their rooms, have their fun, and come back to the party. If ask and you are interested, say yes. If not, say no. It’s no more scary than that. At worst, take it as a compliment that someone other than your significant other thinks you might be attractive and desirable. An ego boost!

Most of what temptation is about is the tease. It’s there in their presentations, shows, and atmosphere that they condone. We think of it as our College Frat Party for adults. They strive to get you into the mood. Where you go from there is all up to you and what you are comfortable with…. Be it skimpy dressing, going topless, or exploring new friends… or even just sitting back and watching people acting crazy now and then.

At Temptation there is something for everyone. OK.. not EVERYONE.. but you know what I mean…

We call Temptation "Spring Break for the Adult who didn't want to be."

 

That's how we've been describing it to friends and family when we tell them where we are going - "Spring Break for Adults." Rome works from home so he's SUPER PSYCHED to be getting to spend 5 whole days around people! lol

 

Correction - adult people! (he's around our kids more than preferred lol)
