There are going to be at least 20 of us there when you are, all looking to have a great time, just may have to be our own instigators. I think we can all make some fun! Bring your own mugs, more drinking and less standing in line waiting for the next one
FYI - neither of those two sites are the offcial GOV site - they are both "look alike" sites from a Miami travel agent.
And that's the bottom line. As much as we would like to see them create the resort in our image, if they have 100% occupancy, it would be a poor business decision to change anything. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Sucks, though, for those on here who booked it based on their marketing a new, sexier concept.
I find it even more interesting that the PDF brochure actually promotes people wearing different color wristbands to identify their level of "play" lol... "The “True Colors” program helps you discreetly announce your availability and if you are open to trying new experiences with color-coded bracelets. The clue is in the hue! Swinging polyamorous; committed but adventurous; or ready to play: It’s as clear as the shade on your wrist. “True Colors” makes it easy to let others know exactly how you like to enjoy yourself, and to see what someone else may want from you. Wear your fantasy on your wrist, and things will happen."
What are you trying to say ? Closing the bars at 1. Doesn't really go along with that thinking. Lmao. Unless they change and change pretty quickly. There has been a lot of false advertising
During our Nov trip the resort was NOWHERE near 100%. 25% would be pushing it. We never had to share an elevator with anyone for 5 days. No lines anywhere !!! There was no lunch buffet, but all of the restaurants had plenty of space. There were more employees than guests!!!! Maybe saw 10 folks in the main pool, never saw anyone in infinity pool. Never saw anyone use the beach north of the stage area. I do remember looking up at all of those rooms and thinking "Thats a lot of topless gals" !!! According to a couple of employees, this was by design, since all of the rooms got refurbished. However after Dec 23, the resort "exploded" with guests. 100% capacity is a LOT of people and we didn't have a trip report for at least 3 weeks ? Remember. So what is the owner to do? "Piss off" 95% of guests (The Vanilla folks) just to make 5% (US) of the guests happy. The way I see it is there is little way that "US" and the Plain Janes are going to be able to co exist. GOVs great beach and water is going to be a "magnet" for lots of folks. Breezes Grand (Jamaica) solved that by placing US (the party crowd) on their own separate CO beach with its own bar and grill. Most of the "other" guests didn't even know the CO side even existed. Even then, the CO crowd resented the clothed guest (Gawkers) from coming anywhere near the CO beach. TTR solved it by having the vast Majority of its guests as the "Party Hardy" crowd. Anyone who complains about topless gals and sexy games is told to go elsewhere (In a hurry). As explained to us, anything that talks about Grand Viva Beach or Viva Beach refers to the old resort prior to the changeover. Our US transfer driver even got confused and had to call his dispatcher.
Breeze. Agreed Can anyone enlighten me why you would book to go to a adult only resort and not expect boobs or late night parties ? Besides no kids what would they expect? I can't figure that one out
100% capacity is probably due to the fact they had great prices for Jan. Maybe cause they wanted to fill the rooms. In late fall reports said 25% cap, not very inviting.
