I'd doubt it. Very, very few hotels in Cancun have heated pools. There are usually only 2 months of the year (December and January) when the pools are too cold to go in, and then not all the time. Depends on the weather, it has been chilly so far this year

Adriana or Valentina, can you please give us an updated direction that the resort wishes to go regarding the adult only experience? I realize that it may take some time and some of the guests that are there now may have booked months in advance, prior to knowing the changeover in being a family resort to becoming a sexy/spicy adult only resort. Except it sounds like the resort is going to be just like several other of the adult only resorts that are already in service. Right now, there is only one resort like TTR and that is TTR. Initially it sounded (and please correct me if I misinterpreted GOV's direction) like GOV was going to be a fun, party atmosphere similar to TTR but with more of an upscale feel like Desire than a frat party. So it sounded like it was trying to meet in the middle of those two resorts to give us the best of each. However, from the trip reports on here, it definitely doesn't sound like anything close to the fun, party atmosphere of TTR nor the sexy vibe of Desire. I apologize if this appears to be an inaccurate description or representation of GOV but many members here (my wife and I included) were very excited to hear about this resort but right now, are very dissapointed with what it is currently turning out to be. We second all of this. While nobody said GOV was going to be TTR2, it was certainly implied that it was going to be a sexy, adult, party vibe. Shutting everything down at 1, no pool activities, ect certainly doesn't fit that image at all. Still holding out hope that things will be better in April!!
