We went to Grand Oasis Cancun!! Definately worth a day trip!! We got a bottle of tequila, two shirts annnddd drum roll please.. a 3 day stay at an oasis resort of your choice.. niiicceee
I agree.....SHOW STOPPER ......1:00 am the show is just getting better at TTR....they really need to change that.

From the current reviews this seems to be a very slow change to the new concept. Let's face it TTR is TTR and I don't think anythings going to replace it. Sure GOV might have more bars and restaurants and even a bigger pool. What's the point if there all not open, close at 1, can't get a chair and get rude comments from people not into the new concept. To me I'd rather spend the extra money and stick with TTR. We all keep,going back for a reason, it works! Like my mamma said "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
yes I agree the 1am thing is ridiculous, like others have said you can party right in your home town until 2am.... vacation is a time to let loose, have fun, sleep in get up and do it over again.... I may contact my travel agent and see about changing our reservation.... reserved hot tubs, no late nite party, uptight people ruining it for the others.... ehhh starting to regret my decision to book here....we've never been to TTR or any AI for that matter but when I go on vacation not sure how i'd feel about being chaparoned in essence being told i can't party past 1am...oh who am I kidding I know damn well I wouldn't like it.. maybe time to pony up a few xtra bucks and look into TTR... we thought initially TTR would be perhaps too risque for us, but dang it I wanna have fun.
I wonder about the "demographics" of the folks staying at GOV now. Surely they read the resorts description ??? Biggest problem I see, is if they are at 100% right now, why would they change things to "suit us" and upset the other 95% of the guests? The Coyote bar is kinda isolated from everything else, why no loud music?
