As ridiculous as it sounds, we're booked at TTR for only ONE night this year: April 11th. We're actually booked at the Grand Oasis for the full week, but decided to book a night at TTR as well -- just to hedge our bet a little!!
Not sure what you're asking... Why are we booked at TTR for one night? Why are we booked at GOV for the week? We're booked at GOV to try something new (we've been to TTR for five straight years). And we're booked at TTR because we're nervous about GOV -- and if it doesn't live up to the Party Standards of TTR, we'll at least get one night of guaranteed debauchery!
I was just wondering why make the switch, but I see your point. If you have been 5 years in a row, it might be nice to see what else is out there. With that being said, it all comes down to what you are looking for. My guess is that GOV won't be the party scene that TTR is; however it will probably be more relaxing. Sure you can lay in a beach chair at TTR, but that won't last long when you can hear the party pool in the back ground. We considered doing half and half last year. Then we met a couple that did just that and were devastated when it was time for them to leave TTR after day 3. They tried to stay for the rest of the trip but couldn't work it out. I think we will be on the TTR train for a while, but than again we are only on year 3!
