I'm so excited!!! Thanks everyone! The lanterns come flat and we just have to pop them open and light the wick. I'll bring enough lanterns and lighters for everyone. It should be cool!

 

We use those lanterns all the time at the marina along the shore line we let them get up to about 50 feet or so then shoot them down with a shotgun sometimes we will hang a small balloon filled with gas below it, makes a great explosion just a little redneck entertainment.

 

So you saying I should bring my shotgun...? Thinking that may cause some problems with the TSA..:bandit:

 

Don't think you will have that freedom down there or get thru security. We tried it with a wrist rocket before but you don't get the same effect as you do with a shotgun. Now we could make a shotgun/cannon out of some bamboo and use bottle caps for ammo and if the liquor is strong enough(K-Passa may have some) that could be our propellant ?
