well, I've never been to Spain

I heard folks from the UK complain about large groups of Canadians at TTR last year, but we've never had a problem. I don't recall what the issue was. For us, one of the best things about vacation is meeting people from all over with different accents and backgrounds.

Love my Canadian friends!! One year, someone brought a maple leaf stamp and stamped me as an honorary Canadian. Since I grew up in Michigan, I am practically Canadian, anyway. LOL

As for accents, the United States has so many different accents, it is unbelievable. Canada is the same. The accent in Northern Michigan compared to the SW corner where I grew up is completely different. My cousins from up north sound Canadian or like they are from Minnesota but since I grew up in the South, I sounded like Chicago which was about 60 miles away. That is just one state.

I love the accents, the different usage of words and the party animals from all over. Those of us who travel to TTR knowing what we are in for are the type who love everyone. We are just there to have fun and not judge. The ones who I have seen judge or look disgusted are those first timers who did not know what they were getting themselves into (as my memory goes to the lady looking down at the swim up bar as I am about to have shots done off my body....that look haunted me for a long time...she was disgusted).

Water freezes/melts at 0, and boils at a 100. Room temperature is 20 ish. A nice summer day is 30. Anything below -20 sucks.

Never had that. You will see me with my bottle of Gentlemans Jack(I say its the flavor, but the #7 kicks my ass). They have Jim Beam, and a few other "Mexican" vodka's:ernaehrung005:

You Calagary folks did steal the Flames from Atlanta (way back in 1980). For years everyone here assumed all of you Canadians sounded like Bernie "Bom Bom" Geoffrion !!
He never really comprehended that "The Atlanta Flames) referred to what General WT Sherman left after his visit to our city.
