We have booked for 11 nights. Damn if we are going to be sleeping in separate beds for 11 nights. Just wonder what the ratio to double beds to kings really is. If GOV is getting complaints then buy more kings beds. You want to be a couples resort and not a spring break resort for college kids or families that might want double beds.
Re the beds issue I agree that couples should have one king, but the hotel is not couples only. There will be singles travelling together who don't want to share a bed so they will need to have some rooms that have two beds.
Thanks for your time, we will be there next week and I have to admit I am nervous. I will give my reviews too. I can't find any info on the charge for internet, can you tell me? Thanks!
Sorry to hear this....but I do understand. I (we) are hoping for the best when we go. We will just be happy to be away from work and our 20 and 17 year old kids! Now we just hope they don't destroy the house while we're gone....lol
I am thinking that the original post seems..... overplayed, maybe? I don't know why, and if not, I apologize. But, that's a comedy of errors all to happen on a 1st day -- but COULD happen I guess. Hope it turns out better!
Regarding the bed issue-last year at TTR we got a room with 2 beds. At first I thought it was terrible but then it turned out to be great!! One bed to play in and one bed to sleep in!! Always look for the silver lining!
I don't know why we feel the need to question the op's validity. Even AFTER the issues were acknowledged by the resort. Maybe we all just want GOV to work out so bad. I know if I had those issues I would be just as mad and would be sharing also. Good to hear things got fixed and the resort does care (and the lack of caring may be an isolated front desk employee who clearly needs training or a different line of work). I look forward to hearing more about the vibe, activities, nightlife.
