That'll be down to us in the UK & the fact that Canada is still part of the Commonwealth.... It's traditionally the day that 'staff' received their Christmas gifts or 'boxes'. Hopefully that explains
I have never witnessed this in all my years of traveling The entertainment staff try to get the crowd going by dividing teams by country , ,that's about it. Is it just American,s you seam to have a socializing problem with ??
"Canadians." Translates to "Drinkers" in American English. We always seem to meet people from botht he U.K & Canada when at TTR, and we've always had a great time with the Canucks, no problems. Canadians are like Texans, and Canadians apparently like Texans, and it's mutual, so there ya go.
Some of our dearest friends are Canadians, there are wonderful people everywhere!! Where we live has nothing to do with that!!
We met a couple of Canuck couples last year and spent our whole vaca with them. Had so much fun, we are all meeting at GOV this year...
can/amer one day we will all be called north americans!!!!:daveandmo: have to say though our beer is better lol
I'm like Steve I cant tell the difference until I ask, but the Canadians I've met were great people and loads of fun !
Some of our closest friends are Americans at Temptaions, from all across the states. Shared some great times with them. While on the topic we've met good people from all over the world. Russia, Britian, Canada, USA, Germany, Scotland , Ireland and can't forget the Latino's. The worst of them we're from my home city. Groups of juice monkeys showing up acting like a bunch of idiot's.:daveandmo:
Well I was not even going to go there!!! BUT...... You started it!! You may have some pretty good brews, personally I prefer the ones from our southern neighbors. Your wiskey is OK, but I believe Lynchburg TENESSEE has got your silly little crown beat, lol!!!! Now if you are up for the taste test challenge, I believe we should set up a pannel of various drunks to determine who is the best!!! Can I get any volunteers to help solve this age old rivalry????artyhorn:
We've met some great couples from Canada at TTR...A shout out to SKCOUPLE (Mike and Alicia)...can't believe two years in a row our trip dates just haven't lined up. Mike has explained his love for hockey to me and even Canadian Rules Football - but I never asked him about Boxing day. I'm now smarter than I was when I awoke this morning!
