How much money should we take???

we are leaving to TTR this saturday 18 2014 and we wandering what is the average a couple spent in cancun $$$ how much money shoul we take???

 

On average how much do you spend a day ?

are you planning any excursions ?

and clubbing
and Coco Bongo shows ?

heavy or light tipper ?

For me ,, $50 @ day for tipping, + activities

about 800 for the week.

And extras I pay with a Credit card

 

Donald pretty much nailed it. About $50 a day for tips and another 2 or 3 hundred for extras.

We have always planned on $100 day for tips shopping etc. and use the mastercard for the extras that are priceless (ie Boobs Cruise). $100 has always been more than enough and always have a little to take home to start shopping for next years outfits.

 

We also plan on $100 a day. We make sure to bring US dollars in fives and ones for tips. And we always come home with extra money.

 

Depends, but since the exchange right now isn't good for us I'll wait! I'm always bringing 400$ for a 7 days trip! I don't do alot of excursion don't want to miss anythibg at TTR! Only excursion we will do it'a Boobs Cruise so I'll bring 600$ instead!

We are thinking about $500 for 7 days (incl Boobs Cruise money). The $500 will be good for tipping and a few small souvenirs.
