I (Sarah) just did my second laser session this past Friday. I didn't think it hurt at all. She turned the laser all the way up this time too since I didn't have good results last session and with the trip coming up. It feels like a rubber band snap, the sting of it goes away very quickly. This last session I had some minimal redness, but it was gone in a few hours. I think it was the best thing I've done. Wish I would have sooner so it would be totally completed before the trip. But, I have it timed out that I shouldn't need too much up keep while at TTR. I found a Groupon, so it saved me a ton. I recommend checking for the same. I also recommend doing your research because I learned a lot about the different lasers and such. Some lasers (pulsating ones) will cause more damage than good. I will for sure be doing my legs next in the near future.

I was directed no shaving for 2-3 days before the appointment. No waxing or tweezing or anything than pulls it from the root for like 8 weeks prior though. It doesn't have to be a certain length, but was told that it is good to have something to show where it is and so they can see better on what they are doing. I was able to shave that evening after the appointment.

Been shaving down there for at least 20 years never had a problem. Dial makes a great soap it's glycerin so no bumps or redness at all, no need to bother with all the other stuff.

She is lasered very nicely, but still shaves her legs.

The full cost yes, you see hair does not grow at the same time, each folcule is different. So you will have to laser 2-3-4 times in some cases.
I have done several on my arms. at 180*8 its a big cost.

Back here for us is 300 retail, so if you do it 5 times 1500 bucks....
but well worth the investment in my opinion. Although thats almost a ticket to Temptations...sigh.....
