Hello, we along with another couple are arriving on Feb 9 at approximately 9 pm at night. This is later than we normally arrive but it was just as cheap to arrive the night earlier than we had planned. My question is are the room selection limited later in the day? We have Ocean view rooms reserved, and would like to have them close if we can. My other option is to upgrade to a Jucuzzi Room now. Which should guarantee a ground level room by the quite pool? Thanks!
Room selection is almost always limited, the downside of a popular resort. Odds of being close are slim I'd say depending on what you consider as "close". The good news is the resort is huge by any means so you'll be close enough As for Jacuzzi room, yes they are all on the main floor next to the quiet pool. There are a limited number of these so they may or may not have one available for you. Have a good trip! :lotsofmichaelfs:
We got to the resort around 7pm last year (in mid Feb) and we had a choice of two rooms - a king bed facing the parking lot or 2 double beds in a 5200 block room. We get there even later this year, so we're hoping to get a decent room! It's a hassle, but you can usually switch rooms the next day if you aren't happy with yours.
We are getting there at 7pm also we are group of 8 and were hoping to get rooms closer together. What about late check out we dont have a flight till 7 pm also and would like to shower before going the the airport.
Late check out.... don't worry about it. You are sure to meet friends who will give you access to their room to store you stuff and take a shower
Does anyone know the going rate to upgrade to a Jacuzzi room when you check in? We are already booked for an ocean room.
They may say 100 or 75 or 50. Every time we have asked for an upgrade to a jacuzzi room for $50 we have gotten it, once we had to wait a night until one was available in the busy season. Generally rates have gone up this year so it may be higher now but I would still aim for 50 and see what happens.
