Does anybody know if the rumours are true that there is construction right now or in the upcoming months? (We have already booked and are going in march) I heard that they closed down paty o's and the buffet restaurant... It would really suck if this were true... some of my best memories are from paty o's...

I think that they are planning on doing that, but as of yet no reports of actual work being done. For what it's worth they have in the last year redone the floor and changed seating in Paty O's. The floor especially makes me think that they aren't going to shut Paty O's down soon. For example why would you bother doing a project like that just to go through construction less than a year afterwards?

You would think if they are planning any sort of major renovations they would be doing it during the "off season" months ...I really can't see it happening till the summer months

Adding 6 stories over the Buffet at the Sexy pool is not a 6 month project , even in north America

Maybe not but my point was simply that it will take some planning and organization but sure if the contractor has any clue they will do their best to try and schedule as to interfere as little as possible with operations

If theres renos going on when we get there I will be demanding a move to either GOV or Desire . I go on vacation to relax and get away from construction . If I want to listen to construction noise I can go to work and get paid for it .
