Taking US transfers from the airport is a must. Made the mistake the first time of taking one that came with the "package" I bought. We stood waiting for 30 minutes and then made about 4 stops at other hotels along the way. Keep in mind that Temptations is on the end of the leg. Every other time it has gone super smooth with USA Transfers. Of course we have always had a group of 6-8 so we didn't have to wait for anyone else. Generally speaking we get outside and find USA Transfers while someone in the group grabs beers from Margarittaville. We then gather the group and they say it will be just a minute.....which turns into three.....which allows us time to buy another round for the trip. Works out perfect.

However I will say that I have taken the cab "back" to the airport twice. The first was when we had the "other" transfer and the second was my last time when we forgot to check in and arrange our transportation with Temptations. Taxi ride to the airport isn't regulated. We got 6 people in the van for $30 total.

Ya that goes for any airport really. Cuba was really bad with that.

Maybe we will just take the bus. Or buy something at duty free. Not worth the extra 20 for a 1hr to shop when it's just in and out

    Before I forget. Again lol

dose anyone have pictures of the beach and ocean. Can't seem to find any to see how it actually looks. Lot of mixed and poor reviews on the beach front on trip adviser. And would like to see to make my own judgment

Also is there any cigar shops on resort if I want one that night. And any good ones In town for a box or 2. I tend not to buy cigars at resorts. By the box. As they are normally way over priced or seconds

We have had really bad experiences with the airport transfers that came with out package every time we went. We were on the Van and had to wait for a bunch of people going to different hotels on the strip. The Bus made so many stops that it took us about two and half hours just to get to TTR. TTR is all the way at the end of the strip so we were last to get off.

We arranged our return every time with those other transfers and the van never showed up or they were so late that we would have missed our flight. We had to catch a Taxi our of TTR to the airport. That ran us about $30 USD.

For this April trip we are thinking about catching the taxi right to the hotel. We think we can catch the taxi as soon as get out of the airport (and you get bomb-rushed by all the drivers trying to get you to go with them) you make an Immediate left and the cabs should be there. They should run about the same as it cost us to get to the airport fro TTR.

How does USA Transfers works if we buy it as a couple? Does it take other people from different hotels and waste our time before we get to TTR? If we are not part of the group and only my wife and I how will they work that out?

Any help would be greatly appreciated so we don't put our-self in some danger of catching a cab that might take us to BFE..

We, too, recommend USA Transfer. You just walk outside and they are there for you. No waiting.

When we went the first time a friend of ours told us to book with USATransfers and I thought why spend extra on a private transfer when I have one in my package. Booked anyway and for the two of us it was $35 US one way decided to take the bus on the way back Glad we took USATransfers that first time, we met the guy got in the van and were at the resort in like 25 minutes might have been quicker might have been a little longer anyway we were at the resort ,checked in ,changed , had lunch and enjoying some sun and a cocktail when I turned to my honey and said hey wasn't that couple on our flight they were just getting to the resort that was like 2-3 hours after we got in. They did the tour of other hotels driveways we were glad we went the way we did and have used USATransfers ever since it's $55 US return plus tip drivers are friendly and willing to tell you about the sites along the way places to see and eat or party and the only people in the van are whomever you book. So if it's just you and your mate/friend or you have a group than that's it and no other stops airport to TTR

Diving was around £45 per dive. There were lots of dive sites offered. In April hubby will be going for a couple of days diving
