Ok...so a buddy and I have been going to BBG/Temptation for the last 9 years. I even brought my girlfriend last year...LOL.

Anyway I have notcied that there seems to be a lot of changes taking place there and I'm wondering if someone can answer the following questions as I would like to book for April depending on the answers.

    1) Are singles still being allowed to book there? I saw on Facebook the resort is being marketed as a couples only resort. This would suck as we are fun but respectful guys and not frat boys?

    2) Is there construction going on now?

    3) Are the whirlpools in the sexy pool really for members only?

I also understand its way harder to get pool chairs now if you re not a member?

I realize these things might seem petty but they can help make or break a vacation.

Not sure that I'm ready to try GOV yet.

We just wanna get drunk and party with hot women as per usual!

Hello Bigjay!! I'll try to answer your questions!! :wink3:
    1) As far as I know singles are still allow to book...There are some travel groups that are not booking if your in a large group.
2)Yes..they will be doing construction soon...not sure where..heard of different areas on resort
3)Whirlpools in the Sexy pool are for everyone...They have a whirlpool for members on the over looking the sexy pool!
4)Chairs at the Sexy Pool!! U need to be up at 3/4am to get one..LOL!! :banghead:
I hope this helps a bit!! I'm sure others will chime in soon!! :eek:rangehat:

Thanks Man! so it sounds like it's pretty much like it has always been.......I hate getting up early for chairs.

And to some extent I agree with banning the large packs of guys. My friend and I have noticed how much worse it's gotten over the last few years. But it just makes us look better :)

Chinos once told us we had the right idea.....just chill and let the fun happen.

I have seen a lot of those predatory packs of guys leave the resort because they don't understand basic respect.

Anyway I'm glad its basically the same as it was.

In November the overlooking hot tub was no longer members only. Still didn't appear to get much use.

And when u need to get up for chairs at the sexy pool depends on when you go. For example, in October you could still find a chair on some days at 9am. At the end of April/may if you got there at 7 your chances were not good so 6am would be recommended. Unless you want one specific chair you don't need to be there at 3/4 am.

When we were there last you couldn't reserve a chair until 6 am. they had all the chairs stacked until then. Anything left before 6 am when they started to unstack them was turned into the front desk. Iffy if you ever got it back. Btw this was in Feb

Getting a chair at the sexy pool can sometimes be challenging if you are not a earlier riser. But there are loungers and beds on the beach close by that are for the most part easy to get. Getting a chair is only a problem if you plan on laying out all day in the sun anyways

LOL if it's the deck that was there last June....Um, let's say it is so NOT special that I didn't know it was special and I accidentally parked our stuff there. Staff was nice to say we could stay as long as premier members didn't show up wanting the chairs. The deck is painted dark brown so it burns your feet and there is a tree in the middle making it a very awkward space. We gladly relocated. :icon_rolleyes:
