Totally Confused about the Rooms.

Booking through Vacation Express it shows the standard room and the spice room. I've tried to find what the difference is and how to get what I want. I'm looking for a nice room with a balcony or the large windows that will slide all the way open. I'd also like to know which room to book with the Jacuzzi and can't find any information. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

From what Ive red the Spice rooms are standard rooms that have been renovated.
Some of the Spice rooms have balconies.

I have not seen the Jaccuzi room in any upgrades, they are renovating at this time maybe they have a limited quantity ???

 

I believe I read in another thread that all upgrades are done at check in.

 

That´s right, all the upgrades are done upon arrival

 

Selloff Vacations.com has standard rooms and Spice rooms

 

I feel just a bit safer spending just a few more dollars at Orbitz which allows free cancellations right up to 48 hours prior to arrival for this hotel. I originally booked at Expedia, but just canceled that and locked in the spice room with Orbitz. Expedia wanted a LOT more money for the spice room.

I remember Valentina saying that upgrades were done at check in, but if we purchase a spice room up front, its locked in...... correct?
