We have had a great time every time we have been to TTR, but without a doubt we would love better music to dance to. I know the DJs probably get a lot of request, but can't they see the attitude change on the dance floor when they play songs that most people know.
re/ Music When ever they have a pool party or event outside of Patio's, they don't play music in the small speakers @ Patio,s , but leave this weird thumping sound coming out of them all the time , very annoying. Sometimes its cool by the pools and people retreat to Patio's. It would not be hard to throw in a mixed CD or MP3 of music or pipe the DJ music over to Patio,s.
I am convinced that they intentionally put on music people don't like at the sexy pool at around 5 in an attempt to slow down the party. Once during Octoberbreast they had enough of us making requests and let Jen hook up her iPhone to the speaker system. That was nice but not normal practice of course.
my thought on a HEATED pool well dam its mexico....but in winter the pool does cool down soo wtf solar panels = free warmer pools for cooler mexican winters lol ...just sayin....cheers
They have the ability to heat the pools in place, some days their warm some their frigid, Me think they should convert the sports pool into a giant hot tub, would get a lot more use ( sorry Boris )
Folks...we can all list the issues at TTR and I think it's been done in numerous threads and in pretty much every way possible. The reality from where I sit is that ownership simply does not care. TTR is a cash cow and so long as she produces $$$$ there is no serious interest in investing more than be bare minimum. The fact that there is now a valid alternative (I took a tour a couple weeks ago) is the best news I have had this year. I give GOV a high chance of getting it right because lord knows they are starting with a property that is head and shoulders above TTR. We...lets repeat that... "WE" are the ones that create the vibe that we know at love at TTR and because of this we are prepared to overlook a lot. In my view, GOV, is a potentially valid alternative, and allows us to have an honest discussion of TTR's flaws. Do we hope ownership pays attention - YES Should we hold our breath - NO (To me the price increases for TTR next year are totally unwarranted.) Personally, I can't wait to see what GOV does with their facility and I will be watching closely with both my eyes and wallet. Right now, after seeing the place first hand...I am more than prepared to cast my vote with an investment in helping GOV gain a critical mass. Only when they are perceived as a valid threat and bookings at TTR drop will TTR management not be able to hide the facts from TTR ownership. The staff at TTR are great and frankly they do a great job putting a brave face on the place! Tis the season....so here's a toast to sexy choices in 2014 folks!
Completely agree with all of this. Hopefully Temp losses 25-40% of their bookings over the next 12-24 months. Thats the only way we'll see real change, fingers crossed. It feels a bit like having a loved one with a drug problem, you want them to change and you ask and plead. But sometimes you have to hit rockbottom before you realize change is needed. In this case its them losing significant marketshare.
Stop charging for WiFi, its so old fashioned and costs less than washing the towels! Dont play games with the rooms that we have seen over the years. Chinos is part of the furniture
