We had a Sony Alarm clock last time we were there in our room - even asked the maid to reset the time when our power blew as we were never sober enough to figure out the damn thing that night. Maid reset it when they cleaned our room so we know they are familiar with that model of clock - both rooms we were in that last trip had Sony Alarms in them. If we need to be up early we just ask the front desk to call us. And the news/weather channel on the TV has the time on it.
I just checked the weather channel (channel 30 - not channel 12 as EVERYONE will tell you if you ask) for the time.
:flash:The week we were there we didn't really worry to much about the time. We just knew were staying 7 nights so after night 5 we just asked "what day is this?" Some how we made it home.
Totally agree! When people ask me what time it is when we're there I give them one of two answers: Daytime or nighttime. Nothing else matters, and the only reason that matters is because at night you don't have to put on sunscreen. ps always wear sunscreen!!!
Or perhaps the maid was just sober. LOL. Idk. We asked several people and about half had clocks and half didn't. Of those who did, they all sounded different. Ours was only visible at night/in the dark, but it was better than nothing. The front desk said they don't have any clocks in the hotel when we called for one (our first room didn't have one). Nothing else matters, except keeping your dinner reservation lol
