Will it work with the spice room

 

This is for hotel only and excluing flight right ? That promo is very interesting since there is the free cancellation in it. But then when I check the price of the flight on a standalone basis, the overall trip gets more costly than booking hotel+flight together (because there are giving nme that "booking together" rebate). Is there something I can do to include the flight in the "hotel only" package ?

 

Yes. If I recall correctly the spice room was $26 more a night so $165 a night after the promo code applied. I struggled with whether to go with spice or not. I am still not 100% clear on the difference, if you are please explain. I plan on trying to upgrade to one of the suites if the price is right. Suites were not an upgrade option online.

Correct. You only get that discount if you are booking hotel only. However, you can book a vacation package and get the booking together discount and use code 150vaca to get an additional $150 off your vacation.

We actually did one reservation for GOV hotel only for part of our trip which got us the $139 rate. Then we plan to book (once i finalize the exact dates with sitters) a separate reservation (orbitz allows you to now book a hotel in a package for just some nights) where we book the airfare and final 4 nights at desire pearl. The booking together gets us $100 off each night at pearl (which is really unusual as typically the pearl rate is $500 night) plus an additional $150 off the package.

End result will be $3200 for 3 nights gov and 4 nights pearl plus 2 flights from philly which if booked alone are $690 each. So my total hotel cost is $1800 which is crazy considering rack rate for 4 nights alone at desire is $2000!

 

Trying looking for flights through someone else, we used Air Transat pretty reasonable, 1509 tax and fee included for two, however we're there for 3 weeks.. LOL which suits me fine. I did a quick check from Quebec may 3 to 10 was 748 per person all included.

Don't get me wrong. We love TTR. But given the price advantage and the hope of nicer restaurants, beach, rooms, jacuzzi we are going to take the risk and hope the concept has fully switched to TTR party style by may. If not we will make our own party And we will be back to TTR in October.

 

Any reports on singles to couples ratio or is it couples only?
