Right now Jamaica isn't safe of what I heard. ALOT of Violence and crime. Anyways, TTR Will make improvment... The staff worth the money. How much time we spend on room ? 8 ( shower and sleeping ? ) Seriously, I know the room getting old, but isn't the room make the hotel a blast.. it's all the great and special people over there. The STAFF are so nice... =) Oh Well .. I'm out too bed now =D
More user friendly pool: -the washrooms are RIGHT in your face -the far end of the pool can't see much of the activities that are catering to the 50 people by the bar -The "premier" area is just weird -There are not enough chairs BUT - the users are friendly! and ps: we just paid the same amount for a 2014 trip than we paid for a trip in 2010 ------ so, not bad .....
Ya know Donald - for the $135 a night in the off season and the $165 a night during the peak season not much is expected to change - just keep the resort clean and do regular maintenance. Regular maintenance is sorely lacking but we saw them making an effort in October to freshen up the exterior paint. For the new rates Temptation wants - things should change. Food & alcohol quality should increase. A remodel of Nice Shoes is long overdue, beach palapas would be nice, new water sport equipment needs to be purchased badly, some fans over PatyO's should be installed to help move air, new night time Entertainment should be booked to change up the old tired themes. If GOV starts to make a dent in there occupancy rates - we suspect TTR will go downmarket and be the "bargain" choice once again.
These two things I totally agree with... Other than that, a little step up in the fit & finish of the rooms would be my only huge complaint... Not looking for the plaza hotel or anything, but decent air conditioning and functioning bathroom/shower doors would be a plus lol
Posts suggest a 150 rooms going up over the buffet ,, isn't that going to cast a huge shadow (sun) over the Sexy pool in the winter months ?
I can name more than one realistic changes that can be made: Open up the sexy pool until midnight - or heat the 24 hour pool Offer real room service for all meals Renovate Nice Shoes!! Offer a reasonably priced private vow-renewal - that is more about pictures and the beach ceremony and not so much on a reception with lots of guests and all those unnecessary costs. Offer a room upgrade for those who purchase a vow-renewal (or include drops of love in a vow-renewal package - and then actually offer everything promised in drops of love, like room service and a butler). Free wifi for jacuzzi or Temptation suites Offer more authentic Mexican food choices
